Philos achieves in ߲ Mathematics and taekwondo
In just seven months of study with ߲ Mathematics, 15-year-old Philos achieved the milestone of studying one year ahead of his school grade.
Philos, in Year 9 at school, enrolled at ߲ in February 2023. He started with revising fractions. Now, Philos is learning about factorisation, monomials and polynomials, and simultaneous equations in his ߲ Mathematics worksheets.
“߲ has helped me learn about different types of mathematics, that I didn’t know about back then”, Philos says. “But now I know a lot more”.
Philos says that his advanced study through ߲ is helping him in school and will give him greater career choice in his future.
“[My current study with ߲] might help me get different types of jobs that need require strong mathematics skills”, Philos says.
Binod, Philos’s father, says he views strong skills in mathematics as essential for son.
“In my opinion, mathematics is the key for all subjects”, Binod says. “That’s the reason I enrolled [my son] at ߲”.
Philos is achieving outside of the classroom as well. He recently achieved a silver medal in the 4th Global Taekwondo Tournament, held in Melbourne over the King’s Birthday long weekend. Philos is also an avid soccer player.
