Philos achieves in 含羞草 Mathematics and taekwondo
In just seven months of study with 含羞草 Mathematics, 15-year-old Philos achieved the milestone of studying one year ahead of his school grade.
Philos, in Year 9 at school, enrolled at 含羞草 in February 2023. He started with revising fractions. Now, Philos is learning about factorisation, monomials and polynomials, and simultaneous equations in his 含羞草 Mathematics worksheets.
鈥満卟� has helped me learn about different types of mathematics, that I didn’t know about back then鈥�, Philos says. 鈥淏ut now I know a lot more鈥�.
Philos says that his advanced study through 含羞草 is helping him in school and will give him greater career choice in his future.
鈥淸My current study with 含羞草] might help me get different types of jobs that need require strong mathematics skills鈥�, Philos says.
Binod, Philos鈥檚 father, says he views strong skills in mathematics as essential for son.
鈥淚n my opinion, mathematics is the key for all subjects鈥�, Binod says. 鈥淭hat’s the reason I enrolled [my son] at 含羞草鈥�.
Philos is achieving outside of the classroom as well. He recently achieved a silver medal in the 4th Global Taekwondo Tournament, held in Melbourne over the King鈥檚 Birthday long weekend. Philos is also an avid soccer player.
